Here we offer a huge tooth of a Mosasaurus. The fossil comes from Cretaceous deposits. It is around
65 million years old and was found in the famous phosphate mines around Kouribga in Morocco.
The tooth has been preserved completely with the root. It is huge, the size is a remarkable 9.5 cm.
Interesting is the chewed (not broken!) tip.
The unbroken original matrix measures approximately 13 x 7 x 4 cm. The stone contains some more
unprepared bones such as two vertebrae.
No repairs or additions - Beautiful piece!
