This skull of Pleurosaurus comes from the Upper Jurassic (Malm). The fossil was found in the Limestone of Hienheim in Germany and is about 150 million years old.
The fossil measures about 9 cm. The stone was broken once and have been glued professionally, it measures about 15 cm x 11.5 cm x 1 cm.
Fossils of reptiles are the top-rarities in the German Plattenkalk and are highly sought after by collectors and museums.
