Staurikosaurus is a genus of meat eating dinosaurs from the triassic age.
This tooth comes from the upper triassic layers of the Bull Canyon Formation (Dockum Group) of San Miguel County, New Mexico.
The tooth is unbroken, it measures about 8 mm and shows on both edges nicely the carnivorous-typical serrations. Interesting is also the chewed (not broken!) tip.
No manipulations!
