This vertebra of Ophtalmosaur icenicus SEELEY 1874 was found in the upper jurassic layers (Oxfordium) of Peterborough Northhamptonshire, Great Britain.
Opthalmosaur belonged to the marine reptiles - a genus of Ichthyosaur - in Europe it is found only fragmentarily.
The fossil is unbroken, it is complete preserved and well prepped. The size is about 7 x 3,5 x 3 cm.
