This tooth of Cricosaurus were found in the upper jurassic layers (Malm) of Painten in Germany.
Cricosaurus is an extinct genus of marine living reptiles.
Fossils of this species are rarities and seldom offered for sale.
The tooth is preserved beautifully, it measures about 12 mm in length. The stone is original and unbroken, it measures about 10 x 8 x 1,5 cm.
