This tooth of a Theropod was found at the Villeveyrac-Mezé-Basin, near the town of Mezé (Hérault, Southern France).
The age of this tooth is Cretaceous (Campanian-Maastrichtian).
The tooth measures about 1.5 cm and is well preserved. Clerly visible are the typical serrations on both sides. A small piece at the base was broken and have been glued, no further manipulations.
European dinosaur teeth are very rare and hard to come by. Of course, the small box is included.
