Turtle shell, pleistocene age

This fossil water-turtle Kinosternon was found in the pleistocene layers of Bonner Springs, USA.

The fossil is complete and unbroken, it measures about 8 cm. The stone is unbroken and original, it measures about 14 x 10 x 7 cm. The matrix is shaped to give the fossil a natural "stand". It can be displayed quite well.

No manipulations at all - all is natural!
