Ichthyosaur partial skeleton from Holzmaden

This partial Ichthyosaur was found in the lower jurassic layers (Lias epsilon)  of Holzmaden, Germany. The age of this fossil is about 180 mio. years.

The slab is unbroken, it measures about 88 x 55 cm and contains skull parts, shoulder bones , spine and ribs.

Some of the bones are still covered with stone and could be removed.
