This is a very nice tooth of the Phytosaur Rutiodon sp. The fossil comes from the upper triassic (Bull Canyon Formation) of San Miguel County/New Mexico. The tooth is complete, unbroken and measures about 0,7 cm. The age of the tooth is around 210 million years and it still has very nice serrations. The tip is a little "chewed". The small plasticbox is included.
