Products description

This skull of the "running Rhino" Hyracodon nebrascaensis was found in the oligocene sediments of Shandon, Nebraska, USA. The age is about 35 mio. years.

The upper skull and the lower jaw belonged to the same individual, meaning it is NOT a composit.

The fossil measures about 31 cm. The skull belonged to an adult animal, one can clearly recognize the chewed teeth.

The upper skull has less than 5% restauration, the lower jaw has less than 10% restauration.

Very rare and valuable collection piece!
