Products description

This tooth of the giraffe-necked dinosaur Tanystropheus comes from the Upper Muschelkalk (mo3) of Wuerzburg
in Germany

This fossil is approximately 240 million years old.

The tooth is well preserved, even with its root intact, and measures about 33 mm. The unbroken original matrix
measures approximately 6 x 5 cm and contains other small fossils.

Tanystropheus had an extremely elongated neck. It lived primarily on land, which is why remains of this dinosaur
are very rarely found.

Authentic specimen – no manipulation whatsoever!

We only have this one piece – don't miss it.
