This attractive skull of the sea turtle Chelonia spec. was found in the pleistocene sediments of the Santa Fe River, Florida / USA.
The skull is in excellent condition, it measures about 7 x 4 cm. In addition to the skull there is a complete humerus preserved.
To stabilize the fossil it has been covered with a thin layer of laquer.
