This is a partial skeleton (thorax - spine with ribs) of Claudiosaurus germaini.
The fossil comes from the Upper Permian deposits and is around 260 million years old. It was found in the Sakamena Formation of Ranohire in southern Madagascar.
Claudiosaurus was an aquatic reptile that hunted fish.
The stone is unbroken and measures approximately 11 x 8 x 2 cm.
