This crocodile tooth comes from the Miocene sands of Cadzant in the Netherlands.
The site is famous and popular because you can search for fossil shark teeth on the beach.
These teeth can be found easily by searching the sand on the beach. Fun for the whole family.
Reptile fossils like this crocodile tooth are absolute rarities there, something like this can only be
discovered with good luck and weeks of searching. Mostly the fossils are rolled off and/or damaged
by the waves.
We have exchanged this piece with a local collector and can offer it here at a bargain price.
The tooth is perfectly preserved and unbroken, it measures about 2.3 cm.
Of course the plastic box is included.
