This great plant fossil slab comes from the Permian age (Rotliegendes) of Bad Sobernheim.
There are beautiful fossils on both sides of the stone.
It comes from an old collection and was found in 1974. The site (Ziegelei Eimer) is famous for its splendidly preserved plant fossils.
Unfortunately the site has long been inaccessible, and fossils from there are very rarely seen on the market. This fossil was part
of an old collection.
The stone is unbroken, it measures approximately 21 x 15 x 3 cm.
Honest piece without any manipulations.
