These tracks of were found Rotodactylus matthesi were found in the lower triassic layers (middle Bunter) of Heßberg / Hildburghausen, Germany.
The site is well known for one large (now world-famous) track slab showing many imprints of Chirotherium and "dry cracks" which has been recovered there in 1833. Today not find opportunities remain.
The stone is unbroken, it measures about 12 x 10 cm. The tracks measure about 4 x 4 cm. No manipulations at all.
