Ichthyosaur partial skeleton with skull and paddle

This partial skeleton of the Ichthyosaur Stenopterygius comes from the lower Jurassic (Lias epsilon) of Holzmaden.

The fossil is very well preserved and perfectly prepared. You can clearly see the back of the head (even a few teeth are present) and the front paddle is also there. Additionally the stone more bones from the shoulder girdle and some ribs and vertebrae bones can be seen.

The plate is original and unbroken, it measures about 36 x 29 cm. On the back of the stone a hanger was attached, so you can hang the fossil directly to a wall if you want.

Perfectly prepared fossil without any manipulations - everything is in its original condition and nothing has been added or colored.
