Sendenhorstia fish fossil

This nice fish Sendenhorstia comes from the cretaceous deposits of Hgula in Lebanon.

These fishes are named after a German locality (Sendenhorst) - one can find similar fishes there.

The animal measures about 9 cm. The plate is unbroken, it measures about 22 x 15 cm. A little fish and a little shrimp is also preserved.

Well-preserved (nice teeth!) and beautifully prepped Fossil!
