Products description

This tooth of Tanystropheus was found in middle triassic layers of Würzburg, Germany.

It is perfectly preserved and measures about 14 mm. The unbroken originalslab measures around 5,5 x  cm and contains some more tiny fossils.

Tanystropheus had an incredible long neck. This reptile lived on land mostly, that maybe is the reason why remainings of this unusual reptile are pretty rare.

Teeth of Tanystropheus have a smooth surface at their base - this is the definite distinctive mark to the more common Nothosaur teeth.

No glue, no fake at all.
