This tooth of Strepsodus sauroides comes from the upper Carboniferous (Coal Measures) of Newsham, North Cumberland, England.
Vertebrate fossils from the Carboniferous period are very seldom and rarely offered for sale. This piece comes from an old collection (see label).
The tooth measures about 2,7 cm in length. The slab is original and unbroken.
