Products description

This slab was found in the middle triassic (upper Muschelkalk) layers of Bindlach near Bayreuth. It contains one partial Seastar "Trichasteropsis weismanni".

These animals are amongst the rarest triassic fossils, such an item is a highlight in every Muschelkalk-collection.

The seastar is quite big, it measures about 7 cm, it is still embedded in its original sediment.

All is unprepped, one could remove more... We guess it will come out perfectly if one would prepare it from the backside.

No manipulations at all !
