This nice lizard (?snake) egg (Squamaturum ovum) was found in lower miocene (Aquitan) Sediments of Grünstadt, Germany.
The egg is complete and is still in its original matrix. It mesaures about 2,1 cm. The unbroken slab measures about 11 x 6 x 3 cm.
