Skull of Homo habilis KNM-ER 1813
The skull was found in the year 1973 in Koobi Fora, Kenia at the lake Turkana. It has been dated to an age of 1,9 mio. years. It differs to the other finds of this region that are divided into differend kinds of the early Homo, by its small size of face, teeth and braincase (compare with Homo Rudolphensis).
This cast is handcoloured and made of Epoxi. The colours may be a little differend than shown on the pictures. The handcraft makes every cast unique.
