These five round shaped fossils are algae colonies - Stromatolithes, also known as "Swallows nest".
They were found in the oligocene layers of Alzey, Germany.
The biggest one measures about 6,5 x 4,5 x 3,5 cm.
Nothing was broken - no manipulations at all.
