This is an interesting slab with two sea scorpions - eurypterids as well as some early fossils
Plants Taeniocrada longisporangiata.
The stone comes from the Lower Devonian deposits (so called Klerfer Schichten) of the Olkenbacher
Mulde/Eifel in Germany.
Sea scorpions are rare finds and two such great arthropods on one stone is without a doubt a
great rarity.
The stone is unbroken and measures approximately 14 x 10 x 2 cm.
Visually attractive and scientifically interesting exhibit without any manipulations!
Museum piece!
