This is an interesting plate with a sea scorpion - Eurypterid spec. and some fossils of early plants
Taeniocrada longisporangiata.
The stone comes from the deposits of the Lower Devonian (Klerfer Schichten) of the Olkenbacher Mulde
in the Eifel, Germany.
Sea scorpions are rare finds and highly sought after by collectors and museums.
The eurypterid measures about 3.5 cm. The stone is unbroken, it measures about 13.5 x 11.5 cm x 2 cm.
