This is something quite unusual:
It is a fossilized freshwater snail Helix ramondi from the Oligocene of Dallet, France.
The fossil may be of interest not only for fossil enthusiasts, but also lovers of the minerals will like this one. The snail
consists of Lussatite which is an Opal Variation (Var. Opal-CT)
The snail is complete and not broken, it measures about 2,3 cm and has no manipulations.
Very seldom offered material!
