Here we offer a nice example of the lower triassic fish Ecrinesomus dixoni.
It was found in Antikokazzo near Ambilobe in Madagascar.
The fish measures about 9 cm. The unbroken nodule measures about 10 x 7,5 x 2 cm.
The fossil has excellent preservation. The back-fins and tail are still covered with stone, these areas could be prepped further to remove more of the fish.
No restaurations at all.
