This plate is full of fossils of the rare armored fish Rhinopteraspis dunensis.
The fossil comes from the lower Devon (Upper Siegenium/Pragium) of Odenspiel in Germany.
The age of this piece is about 410 million years.
The stone measures about 19 x 15 cm. It contains many fossils such as head shields, rostren, spines and so on.
