Millerosteus minor # 3

This early armored fish Milerosteus minor was found in the middle devonian layers of Caithness in Scottland.

The fossil measures about 9 cm. The stone is original and unbroken, it measures about 12 x 10 cm.

The preservation and preparation of the fish is excellent.

Millerosteus belongs to the smalles Placodermi known yet.

No manipulations at all!
