This great plant fossil comes from the permian layers (Rotliegendes) of Bad Sobernheim in Germany.
It comes from an old collection and was found in 1974. The location (Ziegelei Eimer) is famous for its magnificently preserved plant fossils.
Unfortunately, the location has long been inaccessible and fossils from there are very rare on the market.

The stone was broken, it measures about 13 x 9 x 3 cm.
