Products description
This insect wing comes from the lower jurassic layers (Lias) of Sulzkirchen in Germany. The site disappeared decades ago,
it was a temporary location during the construction of the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal.
The wing shows great details. It is unbelievable how such fine veins of a filigree insect wing can still be so perfectly
preserved after 180 million years.
The fossil measures about 2.2 cm. The stone is unbroken, it measures about 4 x 3 cm.
Rare opportunity for every insect collector.
