Products description

This is the right side arm bone (Humerus) of a red deer Cervus elaphus. It was found in the pleistocene age sediments of the river Rhine in Germany. The location is Stockstadt near Rhine.

The fossil is unbroken and measures about 30 cm in length. It is massive, solid and heavily mineralized. Some parts still have rests of the original sediment.

The fossil has been covered with lacquer - which could be removed easily with Aceton.
