The Voltziales are a group of extinct seed plants, they are considered the ancestors of today's conifers.
The fossil comes from the oil shale of Seefeld in Tirol / Austria (Triassic, Seefeld Formation).
The plant measures about 8 cm. The plate is unbroken, it measures about 14 x 12 cm.
