Miocene bird eggshells #1

Here we offer fossilized eggshell pieces from unidentified birds. They were found in the miocene layers of Clermont-Ferrant in France.

 

The stone is unbroken, it measures about 8 x 7 x 4 cm. The eggshell still is embedded in the original sediment, it measures about 2 x 2 cm.

 

Rarely offered and attractive piece - no manipulations at all!
