Here we offer an interesting slab containing several prawn fossils Carpopenaeus. The backside of the slab shows a partial fish.
These fossilized animals were found in Hajoula, Lebanon. This location is well known because of its fantastic preserved cretaceous fossils.
The slab is unbroken and measures about 16 x 16 cm.
Most of the fossilized Lebanon-shrimps have been painted. But not this one - just as found!
No manipulations at all.
