This stone contains about 14 pieces of "Turitella badensis tricarinata". It was found in the miocene layers of Weitendorf in Austria. The location is quite interesting, the marine sandy layers have been "cooked" meaning they have been covered with hot lava material.
The stone measures about 10 x 7 x 4 cm. It is unbroken and has no manipulations at all.
Rare fossil, the location is closed. No new finds possible.
