Bat Messel #2

This bat was found in the eocene layers of the famous Messel-site in Germany.

The animal measures about 6 x 6 cm, it is fantanstic preserved. Even the teeth and skin is visible.

The slab measures about 14 x 11 cm.

The quarry is closed for as long time and no new fossils reach the open market. This bat is from an old collection.
