Spider Araneae

This spider Araneae spec was found in the lower cretaceous sediments (Crato Formation - Santana Formation) of Nova Olinda, Araripe, Brasil. The age of this fossil is about 125 mio. years.

The insect measures about 1 cm. The matrix is unbroken and original, it measures about 11 x 10,5 cm.
