Stink bug from the Limfjord of Denmark

This rare fossil stink bug (Pentatomidae) was found in the eocene layers (Zementstein) of the Limfjord in Denmark.

The insect measures about 1 cm. The stone is unbroken and original, it measures about 3,5 x 2 cm.

Some of the pictures show the stone wet (using water) to give a better contrast between fossil and stone.

Rarely offered fossil - hard to come by.

No manipulations at all!
