Products description

Here we offer a nice and superrare skeleton of a rodent. The fossil was found in the miocene layers of Hezheng (Gansu Province) in China.

Clearly visible is the skull with the four huge incisors. In addition, we recognize the front limbs with the "hands", the still articulated tail, pelvic bones and many other remains of this animal. An experiences preparator could certainly expose more bones.

The stone measures about 12 x 7 x 6 cm. It was broken and has been glued, no further manipulations have been made (which unfortunately is not common at many chinese fossils). Everything you see what is original, nothing has been added, colored, embedded or treated in any other way - German preparation work!

Extremely rare museum piece!
