Products description

This huge incisor belonged to the biggest marsupial ever lived on earth. Diprotodon Optatum reached a length up to 3 meters and a weight of about 2800 kilograms.

The fossil was found in the Plio/Pleistocene layers (Chinchilla sands) of Chinchilla, Australia.

The tooth is complete preserved, even the root is still there. It belonged to an elder individual, one can recognize the chewed tip. The size is about 13 cm (measured along the curve).

The root have been glued, no other manipulations at all.
