This copal was found in Kolumbia. Next to many other fossils (insects and plants) it contains an extremely rare fossil reptile Iguana (Anolis spec.).
The Anolis measures about 6 cm. It is near complete, clearly visible are the legs with their typical elongated toe and the tail. Unfortunately the belly-area runs out of the stone. But the backside of the animnal is complete preserved inside the stone. One could downsize the copal from its backside to get a clearer view to a complete leguan.
The size of the stone is quite unusual, it measures about 13 x 9 x 4 cm.
Extremely rare!!!
