Calamophyton sp.

This slab was found in the middle devonian layers of Bergisches Land, Germany. Both sides of the stone contains fossils.

The stone is unbroken and measures about 18 x 16 x 4 cm. It contains very interesting remainings of the plant Calamophyton sp. These were very early trees.

No manipulations at all! Museum item!
