Products description
This fantastic plant fossil Pecopteris cyathea comes from the Permian layers (Rotliegendes - Sponheim Formation)
of Bad Sobernheim in Germany.
It originates from an old collection, dating back to 1974.
The site (Ziegelei Eimer) is well known for its magnificently preserved plant fossils. Unfortunately, the site has long been
inaccessible. Fossils from there are all old finds and therefore very rarely appear on the market.
This particular piece comes from an estate. The slab is unbroken and measures approximately 19 x 11 x 1,5 cm.
An authentic fossil without any manipulations!
