Here we offer you three inconspicuous but quite rare sea urchins, Claviaster beltremieuxi.
The fossils come from the Cenomanian Inferior. This is the lowest stage of the Cenomanian,
a geological stage of the Upper Cretaceous that existed approximately 100.5 to 93.9 million years ago.
They were discovered in 1984 in Gémozac, a commune in western France in the
Charente-Maritime department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
