These fossils of the coelacanth Osteolepis spec. come from the Middle Devonian period of the Orkney Islands of Scotland.
The fossils are approximately 400 million years old.
Unusual: There are two fish on one stone – this is the first time we have been able to offer something
like this.
The animals measure approximately 12.5 cm. The stone is original and unbroken, measuring approximately
26.5 x 18 x 2 cm.
An authentic and honest exhibit, without any manipulation!
