Here we offer a fossil of the rare euypterid Parahughmilleria hefteri. Eurypterids are also known as "sea scorpions." This specimen comes from the Lower Devonian (Lower Klerfian beds) of the "Olkenbacher Mulde" in the Eifel region, Germany. It is well preserved and displays many interesting details. The animal measures approximately 5 cm, the slab is unbroken and measures approximately 7 x 7 x 2 cm. In addition to the eurypterid fossils, the stone also contains plant fossils of Taeniocrada.
