Dinosaur feather

This is a dinosaur feather from the Lower Cretaceous sediments (Crato Formation - Santana Formation) of Nova 
Olinda in the Araripe Basin of Brazil. This fossil is approximately 125 million years old.

The feather is well preserved and shows great detail, it measures approximately 2 cm. The stone is original 
and unbroken, measuring approximately 11 x 11 x 1 cm.

Due to the strict export ban, fossils from Brazil are no longer available on the market, the specimen offered 
here comes from an old collection.
