Shark egg Papaeoxyris

We are proud to offer another top rarity for sale.
It is a fossilized shark egg, Palaeoxyris muensteri. It was found in the Lower Jurassic (Lias) layers 
near Bayreuth in Germany.

The largest measurable distance on the fossil is approximately 12.5 cm. The stone was broken and have been 
repaired professionally. It measures approximately 16 x 9 x 1 cm.

Such finds are very rare and highly sought after, not only by the shark tooth collectors.
